The Software Test Team Leader is full time and permanent, based in Athensâ northern suburbs. Also, hybrid working model is provided.

key responsibilities

  • Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish systems testing scopes, system goals, and testing requirements
  • Define, engage, and commit to testing planning as part of the Release planning, providing accurate estimations and schedules of all testing activities, timelines, and milestones with appropriate tools
  • Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Identify and manage dependencies on Test Plans for integrated systems
  • Ensure both manual and automated regression packs are maintained and updated based on new functionality and changes
  • Define and implement effective test strategies to ensure thorough test coverage
  • Ensure that the several testing and validation processes are improved continuously
  • Oversee the execution of manual and service test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality
  • Review and approval of all test artifacts (scripts, test data) and testing deliverables
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards
  • Monitor the compliance of the quality assurance processes and propose improvements
  • Participate and/or lead meetings with client and other parties like the development team or the deployment teams
  • Coaching, mentoring, motivating, and supervising QA team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Ensuring all tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance, and issue tracking

    experience

    4+ years in Software QA Testing 

    qualifications

    • Independent, precise, and well-structured working style
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (verbally and written) to cross-functional partners of varying technical levels
    • Excellent decision-making capabilities based on risks, dependencies, and changes in the testing environments and release planning
    • Focus on problem resolution and the capability to engage a team in a problem-solving mindset
    • Results oriented; encouraging decisions, processes
    • Strong communication and presentation skills;
    • Demonstrate strategic agility, set priorities in line with broader business requirements, and release planning
    • Openly promote leadership and cooperation across the team; actively works to remove barriers to collaboration
