Pharmaceutical Production Manager

One of the fastest growing manufacturers of the Pharmaceutical industry is currently looking for a qualified candidate to undertake the position of the Pharmaceutical Production Manager.Â
key responsibilities
- Manages/participates and approves problem investigations, corrective actions and audit responses.
- Monitors the quality indicators of the production.
- Manages financial indices such as budget and labor standards
- Ensures compliance with health and safety rules to provide a safe working environment.
- Ensures the smooth operation of the production and packaging departments.
- Analyzes people capacity required to respond to changing production demands and develops strategies to ensure Operations is able to effectively deliver the right people with the right skills in the right place at the right time.
- Oversees the production process, creating a schedule; adjusting schedules as needed
- Ensures the production of quality products within standard costs.
- Develops team based operational systems and processes to optimize performance, reduce cycle times and production costs.
- Controls compliance with GMP standards in all processes
- Reviews and approves procedures and ensures training is administered to drive compliance to GMPs.
experience
- At least five (5) years of work experience in an equivalent position of pharmaceutical industry.
qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of GMP standards.
- Strong, proven written and oral communications and interpersonal skills required.
- Fluency in English language.
- Strong, proven leadership, technical, business, problem solving, and managerial skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences is required.
- Familiar with and capable of operation and trouble-shooting for manufacturing equipment.
- Experienced with granulation, blending, drying, tablet compression and coating, particle coating, encapsulation, and liquid mixing for pharmaceutical oral and liquid dosage forms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a production unit.
- Demonstrated planning and organizing skills, operational decision-making ability, adaptability, and ability to build strategic relationships and facilitate change.
- Excellent work ethics and attitudes.
- Ability to identify process faults and propose/implement solutions.
- Problem solving and strong communication skills
- At least five (5) years of work experience in an equivalent position of pharmaceutical industry.
