Kallithea, Athens 📍 Working Model: Onsite 🖋️ You will be reporting to: CEO *ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, is seeking a Linux System & Network Engineer.* What you will do: You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's network and infrastructure environment. The role focuses on building and maintaining highly available network services, managing routing and interconnection technologies, and ensuring the stability and performance of production systems. More specifically:
- Design, implement, and maintain carrier-grade network infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols, including BGP.
- Manage network interconnections, peering relationships, and traffic engineering activities.
- Design and maintain Linux-based production environments.
- Deploy and manage virtualization platforms and supporting infrastructure (e.g., Proxmox, VMware).
- Monitor network and infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex infrastructure incidents.
- Implement redundancy, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Participate in infrastructure architecture planning and technology evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams on infrastructure-related projects What we are looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Network Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration in production environments.
- Proven experience with BGP routing and network design.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and network security principles.
- Experience with MikroTik and Cisco networking equipment.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as Proxmox and VMware.
- Experience with Bash, Python, or automation scripting.
- Familiarity with WireGuard, IPsec, and tunneling technologies.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Compensation package and
