Anzen Infrastructure Technologies develops AI-powered solutions that improve construction project delivery and infrastructure operations. Our platform enhances Health, Safety & Environment tasks and reporting on construction and infrastructure sites by providing an automated predictive and digitization layer combining computer vision, field sensor data and industry best practices. We address HSE challenges including PPE detection, person-down detection, fire/smoke detection, vehicle tracking, and LPR-based access control, with models trained and validated in real site conditions.
We are looking for a Senior AI/ML R&D Engineer Lead to shape our R&D direction, strengthen our AI capabilities, and drive production-grade solutions for construction and infrastructure environments.
You will work on a rapidly emerging platform operating in complex, real-world environments, helping make construction and infrastructure operations safer and more efficient.
What you will work on
You will contribute to the full lifecycle of AI-enabled solutions, from scientific investigation and dataset creation to PoCs, benchmarking, model governance, and deployment readiness.
• Lead applied AI/ML R&D across computer vision, production algorithm evaluation, experimentation, and optimization
• Work with object detection, segmentation, VLMs, multi-object tracking, and related image & video understanding computer vision techniques
• Design ML pipelines for data collection, annotation, training, evaluation, and monitoring
• Build and validate datasets from real-world infrastructure conditions
• Identify suitable models, architectures, and algorithms, and create PoCs to support product decisions
• Measure and improve the accuracy, explainability, reliability, and robustness of solution components and integrated production algorithms
• Monitor scientific literature, open-source developments, emerging technologies, and relevant regulations
• Maintain technical reports and experimental documentation
• Help define and execute the company’s R&D roadmap What we are looking for
• B.
Sc., M.
Sc., or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in an industrial, technical, or applied AI/ML environment
• Expertise in modern computer vision, including object detectors, tracking, and image understanding
• Understanding of model evaluation, benchmarking, explainability, bias, drift, responsible AI, governance, and audit requirements
• Experience with model validation and production ML quality assurance
• Familiarity with GPU-based inference/training optimization and the MLOps lifecycle
• Strong command of AI tools and frameworks for research, prototyping, and evaluation
• Familiarity with the open-source AI/ML ecosystem
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal English Nice to have
• 1+ year leading technical ML initiatives or guiding a small team
• Experience with modern MLOps tooling
• Experience with cloud AI platforms, distributed training/fine-tuning
