We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and support our PostgreSQL database environments. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with high-availability architectures, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, and database automation. 🎯 You will:
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
• Design and manage high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor database performance and proactively identify bottlenecks.
• Optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database configurations.
• Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and replication strategies.
• Implement database security, user management, and auditing.
• Perform database migrations and version upgrades with minimal downtime.
• Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting (Ansible, etc.).
• Collaborate with developers to improve database performance and schema design.
• Participate in on-call support for critical production environments. ✅

Requirements:
• 4+ years of hands-on PostgreSQL administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL internals, query planner, indexing, and vacuuming.
• Experience with streaming replication, logical replication, and failover solutions.
• Experience with backup and recovery tools such as Commvault or Barman.
• Expertise in performance monitoring and tuning.
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Strong SQL skills and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with PostgreSQL upgrades and migrations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and managed PostgreSQL services.
• Experience with Patroni, PgBouncer, HAProxy, or similar HA technologies.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
