Seagull Maritime Security specialises in maritime security, voyage risk management, offshore security support, security consultancy, and intelligence services, supporting shipowners, vessel operators, and maritime organisations. Together, the companies combine maritime expertise, technology, security, and operational capabilities to deliver specialised solutions to the shipping and offshore industries. Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to drive business development and commercial growth for Vanguard-Tech and Seagull Maritime Security. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing strong relationships with maritime clients, promoting the companies' services, and securing commercial agreements. This role is ideal for an experienced maritime sales professional with an established network within the shipping industry, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to develop new business.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the maritime and shipping industries.
• Promote maritime technology, maritime security, risk management, and related marine services.
• Build relationships with shipowners, ship managers, fleet operators, charterers, and offshore companies.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve business growth.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling services across both companies.
• Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets. Client Relationship Management
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Engage with shipowners, fleet managers, technical directors, procurement teams, and senior decision-makers.
• Understand client operational requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Manage strategic accounts and identify opportunities for additional business. Commercial & Contract Management
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender submissions.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and service agreements.
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure successful service delivery.
• Monitor industry developments, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities. Sales Reporting & Coordination
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline records and CRM updates.
• Prepare sales forecasts and commercial performance reports.
• Represent the companies at maritime conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
• Work closely with management and internal departments to support commercial objectives. Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Shipping, International Trade, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably within the maritime industry.
• Experience in maritime technology, Maritime SaaS, maritime security, shipping, offshore services, or marine operations.
• Strong professional network among shipowners, ship managers, shipping companies, and maritime stakeholders.
• Proven track record in securing new business and managing commercial relationships.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Excellent command of English; Greek language skills would be an advantage.
