POSITION OBJECTIVE Act as project coordinator of the Experts by Experience (EBE), a project endorsing and promoting the lived experience of patients and communities we are working with for them to address the changes they prioritize. Lead the project & ensure proper and on time implementation of the project’s work plan, activities, and deliverables. The project runs its second phase, based on the lessons learnt, to coordinate, facilitate and embed the lived experience transversally within MSF programs and ways of working. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES Liaise and collaborate with partners and stakeholders related to the project within and outside of MSF Construct, review and closely monitor the project work plan and all project activities (EBE Groups Activities, Regular Meetings, Training etc.) Organize and closely monitors organization of relevant events (including their evaluation) Construct a solid network of partnerships within MSF and actively lead implementation efforts in and out of Greece (e.g India) Overview and monitor the financial aspect of the project as budget holder and user: planning and monitoring budget and relevant adaptations Approve and control spending and construct relevant reports as required by MSF Greece and TIC Propose and agree with supervisor any adaptation or reorientation to key activities and overall budget deviations Create and /or coordinate the creation (together with the EBE Team) of the project tools, processes and materials needed reporting Promote project achievements visibility and regularly presents outcomes when asked by supervisor or TIC Committee Prepare EBE Global Reports monthly and within the Project Cycle (3 Months/6 Months/ Annually) for the project activities to supervisors, MSF GR General Director and TIC Committee Provide education to peers and /or volunteers engaged in the project implementation. Monitor tasks and action and evaluate respective outcomes. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree (preferably in humanitarian sciences) At least 4 years of experience in related coordinating positions, particularly with key population or vulnerable groups Significant experience of working with civil society organizations, networks and social movements with a strong focus on partnership building Experience in organising and facilitating events, workshops, meetings (online & offline) Working experience in participatory approaches, community engagement or leadership of peer-led initiatives would be considered an added value MSF working experience particularly in coordination or Advocacy Related field is an added value Strong planning & organizing skills Public communication and external representation Networking and negotiation capacity Ability to inspire, influence and lead by example Knowledge of Microsoft office programs Fluency in English (oral & written), knowledge of Greek & French is desirable POST CONDITIONS Position based in Athens MSF HQ or any other MSF Office Monthly Gross Salary (MSF Greece Office): €1.942 Monthly Gross Salary (other MSF Office): based on the Country’s Salary Grid.
