KBVL, member of the Deloitte Legal international network, is an independent law firm registered with the Athens Bar, that offers legal services aligned with clients’ key business objectives. #YourRole As a Consultant in our Tax Technology Consulting team, you will serve as the QA Automation Engineer for our AI platform used across professional services. The platform consists of an Angular/TypeScript frontend, a Python backend with REST and streaming APIs, and AI features built on large language models and agent workflows. Releases are frequent, and reliability is a key priority. You will build and own the automated testing strategy: UI and API test suites, regression coverage, and quality gates in the CI/CD pipeline. You will work closely with developers to catch issues early and to make every release predictable. You will work on a production AI platform used by professionals across multiple countries, with direct influence on how quality is built into the product. #KeyResponsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain automated UI tests for the Angular application
• Design, build, and maintain automated API and integration tests for the Python backend
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines as quality gates for pull requests and releases
• Establish and grow regression coverage for critical user journeys and platform features
• Define test strategy, test data, and test environments together with the development team
• Test AI-enabled features, including non-deterministic outputs, streaming responses, and tool or agent flows
• Investigate failures and flaky tests, identify root causes, and report defects clearly
• Include accessibility, performance, and basic security checks in the testing approach where appropriate
• Track quality metrics and report on release readiness
• Document test approaches and coach developers on testability and testing practices #RequiredSkills To qualify for the role, you must have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in test automation or QA engineering
• Hands-on experience with a modern UI automation framework such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Experience with API testing and automation (pytest, Postman, REST clients, or equivalent)
• Programming proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
• Experience running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of testing fundamentals: test design, regression, test data management, and defect lifecycle
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English #PreferredSkills
• Experience testing Angular or other single page applications
• Experience testing real-time features such as SSE or WebSockets
• Experience testing or evaluating LLM-based or AI-enabled applications
• Familiarity with accessibility testing (WCAG) and tools such as axe
• Familiarity with performance or load testing tools (k6, Locust, JMeter)
• Familiarity with Docker and test environments in the cloud (Azure)
• Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases for test data setup and validation
