Athens, On-site Employment Type: Full-time (09:00–17:00) Working Days: 5 days per week Experience Level: Mid–Senior Role Overview The successful candidate will play an active role in the management and support of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, performance and availability of core systems and network services.
Key Responsibilities
• Administration and support of Windows Server environments and Active Directory services (AD, DNS, DHCP)
• Management and monitoring of server infrastructure and virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Support and maintenance of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewalls, Routers, Switches)
• Troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software and system issues
• Monitoring system and network performance to ensure availability and reliability of IT services
• Provide technical support to internal users, including installation and configuration of systems and applications, and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
• Participate in the implementation of cybersecurity policies and system protection practices
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance and technical support
• Maintain technical documentation and system reports, including tracking resolved issues and improvements
• Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, infrastructure reliability and operational efficiency Required Qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in a similar IT infrastructure / systems administration role
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail and structured approach to technical issues
• Good communication skills and ability to support internal users
• Willingness to continuously learn and develop new technical skills Bonus Qualifications
• Knowledge of scripting or automation tools
• Experience with IT monitoring tools and performance troubleshooting
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Cisco)
