Main duties and responsibilities will include, among others:
Welcome every guest with a smile and courtesy using a friendly greeting.
Check in guests, answer the phone, and perform call center duties when necessary.
Excellent knowledge of all services and amenities offered by the hotel, the room’s types, location, specifications, the pricing policy, special prices and programs, the credit policy as well as paying and accounting procedures.
Process invoices, reconcile accounts, investigate, and resolve out-of-balance accounts.
There are no discrepancies across any systems, including room status, rates, and no-shows.
Operational reports are prepared and distributed.
Follow End of Day specific procedures set by hotel management (Invoicing, statistical and accounting reports).
Provide the room that meets the needs and the reservation of the guest using the PMS (OPERA).
Process the guest’s departure efficiently and without errors.
Execute and handles reservations, according to pre-defined procedures, when the reservation department is not available.
Listen to any guests’ comments or complaints with empathy, handles everything he can effectively and refers to issues that have not been resolved to his boss.
Aware of the arrivals of VIPs, groups, etc.
Ensure the security of the personal data of the guests according to the GDPR policy.
QUALIFICATIONS AND
SKILLS:
· Degree in Tourism/Hospitality.
· At least 4 years of working experience in an equivalent role in a 4
* or 5
* city hotel.
· Experience in the use of Property Management Systems, OPERA is a must.
· Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent customer service and complaint-handling skills.
· Ability to act as a team member and value teamwork.
· Pleasant and friendly personality with professional appearance.
· Honesty and reliability.
· Attention to detail.
· Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues. Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken). Knowledge of other languages will be considered as an advantage.
