The Anatolia American University is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Volleyball Coach for its Women’s Volleyball Team.
Summary
In this position, you will play a crucial part in developing College athletes’ skills and fostering a positive team environment. You will work closely with the Athletics and Student Activities Office to implement training sessions, assess player performance, and coordinate both intramural tournaments within the Anatolia American University and games with other organizations/institutions.

Contract details:
This position is term by term throughout the academic year. This position requires 2 - 3 training sessions per week while school is in session (maybe some co-ed sessions as well), plus flexible availability for games, tournaments (engaging for 4-5 days away from Thessaloniki), and representation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship among all athletes
- Represent the team at the campus Activities Fair and recruit new players
- Plan & carry out training sessions designed to enhance individual athletic skills and team dynamics
- Coordinate with the Office of Athletics and Student Activities to organize tournaments and other extracurricular events with the wider student body.
- Research and organize Anatolia American University’s participation in team events, local competitions, community outreach initiatives, and other playing opportunities
- Communicate games/matches in a timely manner with the Office so that events can be properly promoted
Take and store photos of events as per the department policy.
- Maintain open communication with athletes and administrative staff through emails, calls, texts, and in-person meetings
- Attend regular meetings with the Coordinator of Athletics and Student Activities and the other coaches.
Qualifications
Fluency in spoken and written English
3+ years of coaching in teams of above 15 y.o.
Experience working with adults and players of diverse skill levels
