Waiter/Waitress

Position Summary:

The Waiter/Waitress primarily will be responsible for delivering meals and drinks, providing menu recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the restaurant or hospitality setting.

Scope:

  • Report to Restaurant Manager
  • Greet and welcome guests to the restaurant
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
  • Recommend menu items to guests and answer any questions they may have
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that arise
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently
  • Upsell menu items and promotions to guests
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum one year of working experience in a similar role in the hospitality sector
  • Degree / Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • A second language will be considered as a plus
