Position Summary: The Housekeeping Manager shall oversee all duties performed by our housekeeping staff; he/she should be able to develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency of the housekeeping department, and has excellent management, leadership, and communication skills. Scope: Reports to HM Lead, hire, and train hotel housekeeping staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Schedule staff and organize replacements as needed. Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily. Inspecting rooms to ensure that company and Covid-19 standards of cleanliness are met.  Take inventory, write orders and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies.  Document areas cleaned by room attendants and report any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests. Perform daily housekeeping cleaning duties as part of the housekeeping team. Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs as needed.
