Superintendent Engineer

Ciner Ship Management Limited, based in Glyfada, operates a modern fleet of 36 bulk carriers and 19 newbuilding is seeking a Superintendent Engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities:

• Providing daily technical support and troubleshooting for the vessels
• Monitoring vessels' maintenance, performance, and repairs
• Conducting regular ship inspections
• Attending class/flag/PSC/Rightship inspections
• Preparing drydocking specification and attending repairs
• Ensure compliance with the company's SMS
• Evaluating onboard personnel, reporting to the office
• Manage vessels' supplies such as lubricants, chemicals, gases, spare parts, and store requisitions in collaboration with the purchasing department

Requirements:

• Holds a university degree in engineering or a C/E or 2/E license, along with minimum 5 years of relevant office experience
• Strong skills in team-oriented worker, ethical, integrity, multitasking, communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail and organization for accuracy and efficiency, and continuous learning to stay current with industry changes, and frequently traveling flexibility
• Experienced on ERP Danaos, MS Office
• Knowledge of industry standards
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English
