Project Engineer

Having always been keen on innovation, HORIZON has some significant achievements in its longstanding route, such as the first small-scale hydropower station by private company in Greece and the first hydrogen energy storage project in Greece

The main activities of the company include:

• Planning, Design, Supervision of Construction, Installation & Commissioning of RES and storage projects
• Operation & Maintenance Services of RES plants
• Engineer Services (studies - licensing)
• Consulting Services
• Participation in research projects

HORIZON is interested to expand its team with a
Project Engineer
for assisting the project manager and project team.

Responsibilities

• New RES and storage projects development
• Conduction of electrical studies and engineer services
• Management of projects
• Technical support on site
• Communication with clients
• Participation in research projects - deliverables reporting

Required Qualifications

• MSc in
  Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in new RES plants' connection procedures to HEDNO, especially for
  PV & biomass
  projects, favourably 1-4 years
• Problem solving & critical thinking skills
• Excellent knowledge of Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and CAD (Autocad or relative) packages
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Excellent knowledge of writing technical reports
• Driving license

Desired qualifications (individual or combined)

• Experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager in RES projects
• Knowledge of Greek legislation and procedures for RES projects
• Good technical understanding on site
• Ability to overtake responsibilities in project implementation
• Knowledge of network automations and SCADA, PLC systems is a plus
• Knowledge of software development of energy management systems is a plus
• Knowledge of energy storage systems is a plus
• Additional studies will be appreciated
