We are currently seeking ambitious team players with exceptional analytical skills and a well-rounded personality to become part of our dynamic and highly motivating Strategy and M&A Deals team in Athens. Our Strategy and M&A Deals team (which is a part of the Strategy, Risk and Transactions Advisory Team) is specialized in providing in-depth transaction support services, especially M&A advisory to private equity investors, international funds, and other interested parties.

As a Senior Manager, you will take a leading role in advising and supporting corporate organisations, private equity firms, and financial institutions through complex post-merger integration (PMI) initiatives. You will be responsible for developing integration strategies, managing Day 1 readiness, establishing and leading integration management offices, supporting the development and implementation of detailed synergy plans, and overseeing post-deal implementation to ensure a seamless transition and the realization of deal value. You will work across a diverse range of industry sectors, helping clients maximize synergies and achieve their strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams and take full accountability for the end-to-end delivery of mid- to large-scale post-M&A integration assignments.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for senior client executives, advising on and developing integration strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, while also fostering effective internal networks across the firm.
  • Lead or support marketing and thought leadership initiatives, representing the firm and presenting insights at external events and internal seminars.
  • Drive the development of practice offerings and products, lead business development initiatives—including identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and selling services to clients—while ensuring effective team leadership and delivery of key initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across service lines and geographies to deliver integrated solutions and maximize client value.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, cultivating enthusiasm, commitment, and professional growth within teams.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team culture where individual contributions are recognized and a positive, engaging environment is maintained.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, consistently upholding Deloitte's standards of quality, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and commitment to achieving engagement objectives and delivering client value.

#WinningRequirements

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • At least 7 years of Post Merger Integration experience preferably in transaction advisory services within an international professional services firm or another Big 4 environment
  • University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related disciplines
  • Postgraduate Degree and/or professional qualification such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, ACA would be an asset
  • Ability to operate in high performing teams and manage multiple priorities and tasks, for a variety of projects, in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong presentation and communication skills. Excellent command of the English & Greek language, both verbally and in writing
  • Analytical thinking & problem solving skills
  • Computer Literacy. Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Military obligations fulfilled where applicable
