Assistant Airport Store Manager

for our stores at Santorini Airport.

Role Mission

To ensure smooth, top-quality store operations by delivering exceptional products, creating a welcoming store atmosphere, and offering outstanding customer service. As a vital part of our team, you'll support AirCanteen's mission and contribute to the stores' financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Monitoring & Planning:
    Oversee and assess monthly financial results for airport stores, implementing effective action plans.
  • Management Training:
    Train and mentor store managers in AirCanteen's operational standards.
  • Quality Evaluation & Improvement:
    Conduct store evaluations and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Inventory & Cash Controls:
    Perform regular and ad hoc cash audits and inventory checks.
  • Customer Relations:
    Handle and resolve customer feedback and complaints.
  • Staff Training:
    Keep staff updated and trained on new products and procedures.
  • Staffing & Scheduling:
    Assist with staffing and organizing work schedules.
  • Project Coordination:
    Manage store openings, renovations, and closures.
  • Market Monitoring:
    Stay informed about the competitive landscape.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:
    Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, ideally in the food service industry.
  • Education:
    Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficient in MS Office.
  • Language Skills:
    Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Key Qualities:
    Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, initiative, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Relocation:
    Position requires relocation near the airport.
