Role Descriptions

Lingua Learn Greece requires a Part-Time Greek Tutor based in Athens, Greece to teach Greek to adults/children and corporate clients, ranging in levels from complete beginners to advanced (CEFR A1 to C1).

The successful candidate must be educated to a degree with an accredited teaching qualification and a minimum of 5 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language. Furthermore, the candidate must be experienced in assessing students' language proficiency in all 4 skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), preferably using the CEFR Levels Framework as a reference.

The summary of requirements is as follows:

• Greek speaker
• Teaching qualification
• Educated to a degree level
• Based in Athens, preferably near Southern Attica area or surrounding regions
• Able to teach face-to-face Greek language classes
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
• Familiarity with using MS Office tools, especially MS Powerpoint or other interactive tools (e.g. video/audio tools) for the benefit of the students
• Experience in assessing students in all 4 skills of proficiency
• Reliable internet connection
• Able to travel to the client's premises to provide the course as required
