As a Pastry Chef, you will play a vital role in creating exquisite desserts that delight our guests and elevate their dining experience in our restaurant. Your creativity and passion for pastry will be instrumental in crafting impressive and delicious sweets.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and present desserts and pastries according to the hotel's recipes and standards.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to develop seasonal pastry menus.
- Oversee and train kitchen staff in pastry techniques and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Contribute to inventory management and minimize material waste.
Requirements
Qualifications:- Proven experience as a pastry chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
- Excellent knowledge of pastry techniques and dessert presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Creativity and attention to detail in dessert preparation.
- Degree in culinary arts or equivalent certification is a plus.
