We are currently seeking a skilled
Spare Parts Purchasing Officer
to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining quotations and negotiating prices with company's approved suppliers worldwide.
  • Sending spares inquiries to spares suppliers to obtain cost & delivery time.
  • Recording, filling, and preparing comparison list before submitting to Fleet Engineers for approval.
  • Assist in the forwarding of spare cases ordered to the vessel via the most efficient way to convenient port and follow-up proper delivery.
  • Verifying the delivery and receipt of spare parts and updating cases with relevant invoices received from suppliers.
  • Constantly liaising with the Fleet Engineer & Technical Coordinator regarding spares delivery.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years' previous experience in a similar role.
  • University Degree in Shipping/Maritime studies.
  • English language skills minimum B2 or equivalent – preferably C1 (or Graduate studies in English language).
  • Proficient in computer skills with extensive experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
