About the Role

We're looking for a talented 
DevOps Engineer
 to be a member of a development team for our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes. This role involves working with a modern AWS-based stack, managing multi-region infrastructure, and ensuring secure, high-performance deployments using 
Terraform
 as the core tool for Infrastructure as Code. You'll collaborate with our development and security teams to automate workflows, reduce downtime, and increase deployment velocity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure as Code
    : Design, manage, and automate our infrastructure using 
    Terraform
  • Cloud Infrastructure
    : Build and maintain infrastructure on AWS, including:
  • ECS with Fargate for containerized applications
  • ECR for container image storage
  • Multi-region VPCs with private gateways
  • Application Load Balancers
  • ElastiCache (Redis)
  • MongoDB Atlas connected through private networks
  • AWS Amplify for frontend CI/CD
  • AWS Lightsail for small-scale or isolated services
  • CI/CD
    : Manage CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, integrating SonarCloud (code quality) and Sentry (error tracking)
  • Monitoring & Reliability
    : Set up automated monitoring, logging, and alerting for system health and incidents
  • Security
    : Implement and maintain best practices for cloud and code security, including IAM, VPC isolation, and encrypted secrets
  • Collaboration
    : Work closely with engineers to design scalable deployment strategies and automate manual processes
  • Documentation & DR
    : Maintain up-to-date documentation of infrastructure and participate in disaster recovery planning

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong Terraform experience
     managing AWS infrastructure
  • Hands-on with AWS services: ECS (Fargate), ECR, VPC, ALB, ElastiCache, IAM, Amplify, Lightsail
  • Solid understanding of containerization with Docker
  • Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions
  • Familiarity with SonarCloud, Sentry, Cloudflare and secrets management tools
  • Strong understanding of network security, private endpoints, and VPC design
  • Knowledge of MongoDB Atlas and private connectivity options
  • Comfortable with scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, NodeJS)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cost optimization and autoscaling on AWS
  • Familiarity with serverless patterns
  • Exposure to incident management and post-mortem culture
