We are currently seeking a dedicated civil engineer or architect to join our company's site management team.

The position is a long-term employment opportunity at Berios for a construction site engineer/coordinator/manager.

Berios is a market leader in the construction of large, high-end, and sensitive projects in Greece, the UK and the UAE, undertaking some of the most prestigious projects that are currently under construction.

This specific position involves placement in one of the 23 projects that are currently underway in Athens/Attica, Greece.

You will be responsible for supervising, managing and coordinating construction projects in an efficient and effective way.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate small-scale to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct on-site investigations, quality control of daily construction activities and analyze data by providing regular progress project reports in the provided template.
  • Oversee the training of staff, liaise with Architectural/Structural/MEP design teams to resolve issues.
  • Daily coordination with subcontractors and suppliers involved in each project.
  • Communication with the client and/or their representatives.
  • Monitoring and adjusting of the project schedule and budget.
  • Assess potential risks, material and costs.
  • Report to Berios' project-superintendent supervisor and Berios Technical and Operations directors.
  • Make sure the project complies with regulations, including permits, health, safety and deliver the necessary technical files and documentations, as required.
  • Completion of the daily project reports and monthly work certifications.
  • Be flexible to relocate if needed, for managing company's projects, outside Athens.

Requirements and skills:

  • Prior experience of 2-10 years in the construction of residential and/or commercial buildings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineer or related field; Master's considered a plus.
  • Fluency in English speaking and writing.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office,including the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office/Google Docs, Google Workspace.
  • Project management and supervision skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to handle difficult situations with clients, subcontractors and engineers.
