As a Senior Cyber Intelligence Center Security Analyst, you will share your knowledge and experience working in a team of diverse and talented professionals that enjoy supporting clients in building and maturing their cyber-attack detection and response capability.

#YourRole

  • Be part of Deloitte's Cyber Intelligence Center and conduct advanced cyber security analysis/ threat hunting activities using known adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures as well as indicators of attack, to detect adversaries that may have bypassed conventional controls remaining undetected in our clients' networks and systems.
  • Analyze network and system activity on client systems (during standard business hours only) leveraging technologies such as EDR, XDR and SIEM, to support detection capability development and incident response efforts.
  • Face and solve client cyber threat prevention, detection, and response challenges in an innovative and effective way.
  • Enable clients to respond to cyber incidents swiftly and effectively supporting containment, eradication, remediation and recovery efforts.
  • Support your team in advising clients in both technical and tactical decisions when dealing with incidents, ranging from crypto-malware infections to advanced persistent threats (APTs).
  • Support your team in delivering an excellent service to clients through technical reporting and presentations and actively contribute towards continuous service improvement.
  • Receive training and attain certifications in the use of cutting-edge cybersecurity products but also on various cybersecurity topics.
  • Closely collaborate with experts from many different disciplines and geographies.
  • Be part of a global community of Deloitte experts in Cyber Incident Response and Threat Intelligence that supply clients with actionable intelligence to detect and respond against APTs.
  • Leverage on said technology to provide operational excellence and improved detection and response capability to clients.

  • 2-5 years of experience, preferably in a Cyber Security Analyst or Cyber Incident Response role.
  • University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, and a postgraduate qualification in Information Security or equivalent.
  • Experience with Windows and Unix/ Linux systems.
  • Solid understanding of core networking and operating systems concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience with log analysis, network traffic analysis and endpoint analysis.
  • Understanding of common cyber threats and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash etc.)
  • Passion and curiosity for the cybersecurity industry and technology trends, innovations, and frameworks, as well as current IT security technologies.
  • Be an independent and collaborative person who cooperates in one or more project teams to deliver high quality results.
  • Possess interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective and lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to conduct complex analyses and communicate them clearly and concisely to target audiences of different cultures, technical backgrounds and levels of seniority.
  • Fluent in both English and Greek language.
  • Military obligations fulfilled where applicable.
