Buyer

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled and motivated
Buyer
to join their team in Western Attica. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring quality materials and products at competitive prices, ensuring inventory levels meet demand, and foster strong supplier relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective procurement solutions.
• Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about pricing trends and industry developments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to purchasing and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Master's degree or MBA is considered an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
