Scorpio is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support the development and modernization of enterprise applications. The role involves end-to-end ownership of software delivery, close collaboration with business and IT teams, and a strong focus on code quality, testing, and continuous improvement within a complex, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

· Lead complete development phases from requirements through delivery with ownership over the quality of all team deliverables and adherence to deadlines

· Propose, research, and evaluate technical solutions for upgrades, modernization efforts, refactoring and architecture improvements in line with industry standards; deliver clear, actionable recommendations, and drive implementation

· Conduct thorough code reviews for all team deliverables ensuring code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices

· Organize and supervise testing campaigns, write test plans, and ensure comprehensive functional and regression testing across all projects

· Analyze and document legacy applications, including reverse-engineering business logic

· Develop full-stack software solutions across the application portfolio while modeling best practices in code quality, thorough testing, proactive requirement clarification, and complete follow-through

· Proactively support the team lead in coordinating work across projects, handling incoming requests from stakeholders, and resolving blockers

· Analyze and troubleshoot production incidents

· Create and maintain thorough technical and functional documentation and knowledge base

· Drive continuous improvement of software quality and team processes

Qualifications

· years as a software developer

· Angular 15+, Angular Material, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript

· Java 17+, Spring Framework, REST APIs

· Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD

· JSP (considered a plus)

· Microsoft Azure application development (considered a plus)

· SQL, T-SQL, SQL Server considered a plus)

· Docker, Kubernetes (considered a plus)

· Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

· Proactive mindset with ability to take initiative, strong sense of ownership and accountability
