Patternmaker

The role is responsible for bringing apparel designs to life in a tangible manner by working closely with internal and external development sources while maintaining the fit, form, function, and specifications of the garments. The main responsibility is to be certain that all garments fit properly and that all technical specification information is always up to date throughout all stages of development from concept to final production.

Responsibilities

• Create first patterns and measurement charts
• Manage the sample development process from conception to final production
• Conduct fit sessions on live models .
• Prioritize workload based on Design and calendar dates.
• Execute complete design specification package including technical sketches, construction details, measurement charts.
• Collaborate with outside vendors on a daily basis .

In Order To Be Considered

• Minimum 5 years experience in computerised pattern making/quality control or production.
• Certificate course in fashion design or textile technology
• Computer literacy
• Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Be able to work under pressure
