Role Summary
As an
Architect Engineer
, you will be actively involved in leading design packages, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring that architectural intent is carried through to construction. You will contribute to both office-based design and on-site delivery, taking responsibility for specific project areas and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of architectural drawings, layouts, and technical details in AutoCAD and/or BIM tools.
- Take ownership of specific design packages and coordinate across disciplines (interiors, structural, MEP).
- Prepare and review construction documents, ensuring compliance with building codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Oversee site coordination, checking works against drawings, issuing clarifications, and reporting deviations.
- Conduct material research and specification, with a focus on high-end hospitality standards.
- Liaise directly with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve design and construction issues.
- Support project management tasks, including progress tracking, quality control, and reporting.
- Mentor junior architects/engineers, providing guidance and quality checks on their work.
- Conduct regular site visits to projects located outside Attica, ensuring close monitoring of construction progress
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- 3-6 years of professional experience, ideally with a focus on hospitality, hotels, or other complex architectural projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit/BIM is highly valued.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, detailing, and high-end finishes.
- Ability to manage parts of a project independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
