We are currently looking for a Master Data Specialist to join our Commercial team.

Your role as a Master Data Specialist

As a Master Data Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining core business data, ensuring that critical information—such as products, suppliers, and customers—is accurate across all sales channels. By making sure that product descriptions, prices, and item details are aligned across all platforms, you will deliver a reliable experience for pets and their parents. Through your attention to detail, strong technical skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will help maintain high-quality data that supports effective business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Maintenance & Governance: Manage the lifecycle of core records for materials (SKUs), suppliers, and customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Product Onboarding (NPI): Coordinate the New Product Introduction process, creating and maintaining material records and their attributes throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Perform regular data audits and cleansing to identify and correct duplicates, inconsistencies, or incomplete records.
  • Vendor Master Data Management: Maintain and activate supplier records in the system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Purchase Price Management: Enter unit prices and manage changes to purchase price catalogs, scheduling updates to minimize disruption to current order flows.
  • Retail Price Management: Maintain base retail prices (RRP) in the central system, ensuring correct linkage to SKUs and managing price lists across different properties as required.
  • Promotions & Offer Data Validation: Set up promotion rules, activate discounts, and ensure promotional pricing is correctly reflected across all channels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to validate and correct data requirements and resolve discrepancies in prices, contracts, or supplier information.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field with strong commercial and business-oriented mindset.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in a Master Data role. Experience in accounting with strong exposure to B2B customers, product data, categories, and item master data will also be considered.
  • Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and experience with SQL.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with data validation, cleansing, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) tools is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
