Freelance Web Developer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skillful full-stack web developer with a strong emphasis on front-end development and on back-end to join our tech team in a contract basis (freelance).

Your primary responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing the server-side logic of our edge platforms as well as internal tools.
• Determining the structure and design of a web page and ensuring user experience determines design choices.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability by utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
• Writing testable code and implementing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of the applications.
• Collaborating with AI Engineers and other team members to understand requirements, propose back-end solutions, and resolve any issues that arise.
• Ability to manage a hosting environment, including database administration as well as scaling applications to handle load changes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in writing server-side web application logic, ideally using Python and Django, as well as experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, Postgres SQL, MongoDB.
• Ability to develop RESTful Web Services / APIs, preferably using Django/DRF.
• Knowledge of automated code testing, such as unit testing and working with frameworks.
• Experience with Container Orchestration systems (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate requirements effectively with the rest of the team.
