The Opportunity
We're seeking a
LIMS Specialist
to support critical laboratory information management operations within advanced manufacturing environments. This role combines technical expertise with stakeholder collaboration to ensure seamless laboratory data integration and system reliability.
What You'll Do
Provide operational support and maintenance for Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
Manage integrations between LIMS, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Data Historian platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PI System (OSIsoft) and Sample Manager
Configure and optimize LIMS workflows to support laboratory operations and quality processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA/QC, operations, and IT stakeholders
Support data validation, reconciliation, and reporting requirements
Participate in system upgrade and migration projects, including 2025 platform transitions
Document technical procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting protocols
What You Bring
Must Have:
3-5+ years of hands-on experience with LIMS platforms
(Sample Manager, LabWare, STARLIMS, or similar)
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with systematic problem-solving approach
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external teams
Understanding of laboratory workflows, sample tracking, and quality control processes

Greek language proficiency (professional working level)
Preferred:
Experience in
process industries
(chemicals, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, manufacturing)
Knowledge of data integration protocols (OPC, ODBC, REST APIs)
Familiarity with SQL, scripting, or programming for system customization
Experience with ERP integration (SAP QM module is a plu
Project management or system implementation experience
Working knowledge of MES systems and their integration with laboratory systems
Experience with Data Historian tools (PI System/OSIsoft, Honeywell PHD, or equivalent)
