Job Title: Site Supervisor – FTTH Civil Team

Location: Greece

Department: Operations / Civil Works

Reports To: Project Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a Site Supervisor to oversee the civil construction activities related to our FTTH (Fiber to the Home) rollout. The successful candidate will lead on-site teams and manage daily operations involving microtrenching, utility coordination, soil removal, and trench reinstatement — while ensuring compliance with safety standards and Greek regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Civil Work Supervision

· Oversee and manage FTTH civil activities, including microtrenching, duct installation, and backfilling.

· Ensure daily production targets are met (200–300 meters per machine/day).

· Monitor soil removal and ensure timely and proper trench reinstatement.

1. Team Management

· Lead and manage a team of machine operators and laborers.

· Assign daily tasks, track work progress, and ensure optimal resource use.

· Provide on-site training and enforce adherence to work methods.

1. Site Safety & Compliance

· Enforce strict adherence to site safety protocols and company HSE policies.

· Conduct daily toolbox talks and routine safety checks.

· Ensure all activities comply with local Greek laws, construction codes, and permit conditions.

1. Coordination with Stakeholders

· Coordinate with local authorities and utility providers to avoid conflicts and secure necessary clearances.

· Act as point of contact for local residents, resolving any site-related concerns.

· Liaise with municipal bodies to secure and maintain required permits.

1. Reporting & Documentation

· Maintain accurate records of daily work progress, incidents, and labor attendance.

· Submit daily and weekly progress reports to the Project Manager.

· Ensure availability of permits, site drawings, and other relevant documents on-site.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil construction, preferably in FTTH or telecom projects.

· Hands-on experience with microtrenching techniques and civil execution in urban environments.

· Solid knowledge of safety regulations and Greek construction codes.

· Proven leadership and team supervision skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for dealing with workers, authorities, and local stakeholders.

· Ability to read and interpret civil/utility drawings and plans.

Additional Requirements:

· Proficient in basic MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

· Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between sites.
