Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to attract an IT Systems & User Support to join our IT Systems & Infrastructure team at Pharmathen's Marousi premises.
As an IT Systems & User Support the ideal candidate will be responsible to ensure the reliable, secure, and compliant operation of the company's IT systems by delivering high-quality technical support, maintaining critical infrastructure, and enabling employees across all functions to work efficiently and in accordance with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
More particularly:
What you'll do:
- Provide first- and second-level support for hardware, software, network, and application issues across all departments, including manufacturing, R&D, QA, QC, regulatory, commercial, and corporate functions.
- Deliver user training and guidance on IT systems, tools, and best practices.
- Perform routine maintenance, patching, and configuration tasks to ensure system stability and security.
- Support and maintain end-user devices (laptops, tablets, mobile devices, engineering workstations).
- Assist with networking tasks such as connectivity troubleshooting, Wi-Fi support, and device configuration.
- Contribute to Employee onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors, service providers, and software suppliers for support related issues.
- Assist with lifecycle management of IT assets, including tracking, deployment, replacement, and disposal in accordance with compliance requirements.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or service desk roles in a medium-to-large organisation
Job-Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of business and IT applications and the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical people
- Good technical background in IT Infrastructure - Windows PC platform administration, networks, etc.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to support users at all levels, from manufacturing operators to senior management.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication in English
