*ELVALHALCOR - Copper &Alloys Extrusion Division is searching for a DESIGN ENGINEER (HEAT TRANSFER LAB)*, with a strong technical background, creative mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement , to join our dynamic Technology and R&D Department in Oinofyta, Voiotia, Greece.

Key Responsibilities:

Familiarization with the new Thermal Performance Laboratory for Outer Finned Tubes.

Management and operation of the existing IGT Tube Thermal Performance Laboratory.

Conducts thermal performance measurements of tubes, including sample preparation, equipment setup and calibration, operation of control software, and standardized recording and storage of results.

Performs basic maintenance tasks on laboratory equipment, ensures its proper functioning, and contributes to equipment improvement activities.

Communicates with system manufacturers for troubleshooting and upgrades. Plans, coordinates, and oversees work carried out by third-party technicians (HALCOR maintenance teams or external contractors).

Ensures scientific accuracy and reliability of measurements through thorough evaluation of results and prepares technical reports for clients.

Creates and maintains comparative performance charts for each product and refrigerant used.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (University or Polytechnic), Physical Sciences, or Technological Applications.

Ability to operate complex laboratory equipment.

Strong manual assembly skills and mechanical aptitude.

Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken).

Specialization in refrigeration cycles and heat transfer phenomena.

Experience in the HVACR sector and/or heat transfer is desirable.

Industrial experience is considered a plus.

Very good computer skills, especially in MS Office applications. Highly energetic &motivated
