Work4u International is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a major industrial client — a company recognized for its advanced technology, high-quality manufacturing, and commitment to operational excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to join a dynamic production environment and play a key role in maintaining and improving state-of-the-art mechanical systems that support large-scale industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, following company policies and industry standards.
  • Collaborate daily with the Production Department to prioritize maintenance tasks and drive operational reliability.
  • Implement and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, managing continuous improvement and modification projects.
  • Allocate and manage mechanical maintenance resources effectively to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of all mechanical equipment across the production lines.
  • Apply quality standards and maintain compliance with machinery directives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and teamwork.
  • Supervise new investments, equipment installations, and upgrade projects within the department.
  • Track and control maintenance-related costs, proposing solutions for improved efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Production & Management Engineering) from a Polytechnic Institution.
    ➤ TEE (Technical Chamber of Greece) registration is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar engineering position within a manufacturing plant.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP or CMMS systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and team leadership capabilities.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
