About the location:

Located on the coastline of Kalo Livadi Bay, Four Seasons Resort Mykonos, will offer 94 spacious rooms, villas, and suites with exquisite views of the Aegean Sea. The brand-new build will take shape on an unspoiled 60,000 square meters of land, spanning from the sandy beaches to the picturesque coastal cliffs. To honor the culture and heritage of the destination, the Resort will be built in the Cycladic style that is synonymous with Mykonos, featuring white cubic architecture with bright spots of blue. The hotel will redefine luxury hospitality on the island. The Resort will offer an exciting variety of restaurants and bars, such as an al-fresco pool-side Italian venue, an authentic Mykonian Kafeneio, a contemporary steak house, and a vibrant beach club. In year 2, this will be supplemented with a Marina.

The Role of Engineering Manager:

We currently have an opportunity for the Engineering Manager to join our Four Seasons Resort Mykonos opening team in Greece

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will play a key leadership role in the pre-opening and ongoing maintenance and operations of the resort. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a world-class team at one of the most anticipated new openings in the region.

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for assisting in the strategic and operational management of all engineering, maintenance, and physical plant functions of the resort. This person ensures that all facilities, building systems, and infrastructure are maintained at the highest standard of safety, functionality, aesthetic appeal and guest satisfaction. The role also involves leading a team of engineering and maintenance professionals, coordinating capital projects, and contributing to cost control, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.

Our Ideal Assistant Director of Finance candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role or relevant engineering position. Experience in luxury hospitality/facilities will be considered an asset.
  • Deep technical knowledge of building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, water treatment, pumps, refrigeration, building automation systems etc.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and project management.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills; ability to hire, train, motivate and hold accountable.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Greek is desirable.
  • Proficiency with relevant software: maintenance management systems (CMMS), building management systems (BMS), computer tools (Excel, AutoCAD etc.).
  • Capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and to respond to emergencies.

Working Conditions & Physical Demand

  • The role is physically active: frequent walking, climbing, inspecting mechanical rooms, roof spaces, pools, etc.
  • Works both indoors and outdoors; exposed to variable weather, mechanical noise, dust etc.
  • Some bending, lifting, reaching, possibly working at heights.
