Data Science is at the heart of our team's product and decision making. As a member of the Data Science team, you will take on a variety of problems ranging from shaping critical business decisions to building algorithms that power our internal and external products. - Work with a multi-disciplinary team to design the overall methodology and approach for delivering unique insights to the client
- Develop state of the art data science products by training, augmenting, and refining machine learning models
- Integrate disparate data sources and build information extraction workflows
- Derive insights that are directly linked to the business issue at hand
- Remain connected to the latest trends and developments within data science
- 3 years of experience in the industry as a Data Scientist working with unstructured text and using Natural Language Processing or Large Language Models. Healthcare industry experience highly preferred
- MS in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related disciplines
- Expertise in conducting large-scale experiments, ranging from unsupervised pre-training to fine-tuning, retrieval augmentation, and prompt engineering
- Solid experience in mapping and mining unstructured clinical data to produce structured entities
- Experience in setting up workflows for NLP/LLM evaluation, through statistical tests and business metrics, model refinement and deployment
- Solid knowledge in statistics and machine learning
- Strong programming skills in Python 3
- Experience with relational databases and version-control (Git)
- Demonstrated teamwork and project management skills, working closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate ML models into end-user deliverables
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in English, both written and oral
