ELEMKO SA founded in 1973, is a manufacturer based in Athens Greece with subsidiary offices in Thessaloniki and Thiva. The company has gained expertise in providing technical support and engineering services relevant to lightning protection and earthing for more than 50 years. We are currently looking for a corrosion protection engineer to support to our portfolio of services and products in our R & D department. Therefore, we are looking for new members to work on this field.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site (Athens & Thiva) role for a corrosion engineer in R & D. The candidate will be responsible for tasks related to corrosion protection, corrosion monitoring, coatings and cathodic protection. The job include office, laboratory and field hand work.
Qualifications or Experience
- Corrosion, Corrosion Engineering, and Corrosion Protection skills
- Coatings and Materials expertise
- Cathodic Protection experience
- Knowledge of Chemical Engineering and Material Science is an advantage
- Greek & English speaking is a requirement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or related field
