Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for excellence, and a commitment to maintaining a pristine environment for all our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public areas, and laundry services.

  • Lead, train, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional cleanliness and service.

  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness and quality standards.

  • Manage inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective use.

  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring timely and efficient service.

  • Address guest complaints and requests promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and operational efficiency.

  • Monitor staffing levels and schedule team members as needed to meet occupancy demands.

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support staff development.

  • Prepare reports on department performance based on occupancy rates, expenses, and guest satisfaction scores.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

  • Proficiency in housekeeping management software (experience with Protel PMS is a plus).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations.
