As a Spa Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Spa. You will lead by example the Spa team to deliver an exceptional service to the guests and ensure that the Spa's operations run smoothly

What you'll do

Ensure that the Spa team adhere to all hotel's and company operational and service standards

Able to provide guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes

Conduct checks on both treatment rooms and wider areas of the Spa to ensure it's clean, tidy and well stocked with products and provisions

Ensure all areas of the Spa are well maintained at all times

Ensure the guest experience is relaxing and in accordance with the hotel's standards

Ensure the health and safety of guests and employees are paramount at all times

Responsible for Spa employee's weekly duty schedules and staff duty charts

Responsible for the department training plan and conduct hands-on training for the new recruitment

Motivate Therapists and ensure they have the confidence and skill set to promote and sell Spa services and retail Spa products

Be on hand to deal with any customer issues

What we are looking for

Proven experience working as a Spa Supervisor/Manager, preferably in a 5* hotel environment

Licensed in massage therapy and cosmetology or aesthetics

Excellent command of the English language

Knowledge of a second language will be considered as an asset

Hands on experience in massage techniques, manicures, pedicures and face/body therapies

Able to handle any guest complaints or special requirements

Able to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer appropriate options, solutions and resolutions

Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques

Strong leadership, team, organizational and communication skills

Exceptional customer service skills
