Chubb is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer - Team Lead to join our team. Responsibilities:
Lead a team of engineers to deliver high quality software solutions by managing development processes, ensuring technical excellence, and fostering collaborationCollaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and suggest feasible technical solutions while considering time constraints. Collaborate with the Business Analyst in translating these requirements into detailed Jira tickets, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives.Prepare and deliver demos to business stakeholders, showcasing new functionalities.Prepare the UAT environment and present completed sprint items to users, fostering an interactive session that encourages feedback and ensures alignment with user expectationFoster a collaborative environment in the team to ensure all team members can effectively cooperate with the QA team, the PM and the BA.Plan sprints and project scope, ensuring clear objectives and timelines are established.Assign tasks to team members and monitor their progress, ensuring deadlines are met.Serve as the technical point of contact for other teams, facilitating seamless integrations between applications.Collaborate with architects to ensure adherence to proper governance processes.Mentor junior software engineers, facilitating their rapid productivity and continuous skill development.Conduct thorough code reviews, providing feedback and guiding engineers towards optimized, fully functional applications.
