We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated Data Governance Practitioners to join our Data Engineering Practice on behalf of our clients in different industries within the Greek Banking market. The candidate will play a key role for establishing and enforcing data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data.

Responsibilities

  • Participation in large-scale client engagements.
  • Contribution in the delivery of innovative and engaging data governance solutions.
  • Understanding of business and technical requirements, provision of subject matter expertise and implementation of data governance techniques.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards, facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage, and drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance.
  • You are expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert
  • Active participation and contribution in team discussions are required, along with providing solutions to work-related problems

Intermediate proficiency in Data Governance is required. Advanced proficiency in Data Storage Tools & Techniques, and intermediate proficiency in Data Governance Operating Model, Data Standards is recommended, while beginner proficiency in Data Security is suggested. Develop and implement innovative data governance frameworks that align with organizational goals. Conduct regular audits of data management practices to ensure compliance with established policies. Facilitate training sessions for team members on data governance best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and accessibility. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve data governance strategies.

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 2 year of relevant experience on data governance using Data Storage Tools & Techniques.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Data Governance Operating Model and Data Standards.
  • Beginner proficiency in Data Security is suggested.
  • Develop and implement innovative data governance frameworks that align with organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular audits of data management practices to ensure compliance with established policies.
  • Facilitate training sessions for team members on data governance best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and accessibility.
  • Understanding of data ecosystem's fundamental principles, communication methods, and their impact on users' experience.
  • Communication & Time Management Skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a group
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem-Solving Attitude
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Languages required: English and Greek, both written and verbal
