was founded in December 2008 and has constantly been developing and growing both within and outside Greece ever since. They are a specialized provider of airport & logistics systems and services while holding a professional expertise in advanced automation and control technology.

Our client
is a member of the group of companies of an Austrian company, a leader in planning and implementation of complex systems in the area of automated logistics, with more than 8300 employees all over the world.

Due to its expansion, our client is seeking to recruit a highly motivated and talented
SYSTEM ENGINEER
in the area of Athens.

#yourmission

  • Perform structured cabling (Ethernet and fiber optics) for network and system interconnectivity.
  • Configure connection settings on LINUX servers and Windows terminals; occasionally on firewalls, switches, and VPN devices.
  • Implement and validate VLAN segmentation for secure and efficient network traffic management.
  • Configure firewall rules and policies, including service/port access control.
  • Set up and troubleshoot switch configurations.
  • Implement network routing strategies to ensure optimal data flow.
  • Configure and test high-availability clusters using Pacemaker.

  • Network knowledge and management (routing, switches, VPN, firewalls and network security)
  • Knowledge and handling of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Knowledge in Operating Systems (Linux, Windows)
  • Availability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Basic knowledge of database systems and administration tasks
  • Previous experience with firewall administration and policies (especially Fortinet) would be considered as an asset
  • Familiarity with server hardware, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and server management
  • Can use Bash scripts for automation and infrastructure management
  • Very good communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team player, ability to collaborate effectively in an international multicultural environment
