Software Engineer in Test (SDET)

Technology powers everything they do. They are looking for a
Software Engineer in Test (SDET)
to ensure quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle, focusing primarily on automation within their proprietary web application.

What You'll Do

  • Drive Automation:
    Develop and maintain automated tests for both frontend and backend applications.
  • Strategy & Design:
    Analyze complex systems to design effective testing strategies and plans in collaboration with Software Engineers.
  • Ensure Quality:
    Execute test cases, analyze results, identify, categorize, and report bugs and errors to development teams.
  • Team Growth:
    Mentor and guide junior engineers and promote a continuous quality mindset.

Who We're Looking For

You are a proactive engineer with 6+ years of proven experience as a Software Developer or Software Engineer in Test, passionate about quality and automation.

  • Must Have:
    Proficiency in
    Object-oriented or functional programming
    and
    SQL
    .
  • Experience in testing
    microservices
    in cloud-native environments.
  • Working knowledge with
    Continuous Integration
    pipelines (Gitlab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI etc).
  • Shift-left testing mindset
    (Testing Pyramid).
  • Ability to do root cause analysis based on log data and debugging information.
  • Bonus Points:
    Experience with
    JavaScript
    or the
    Cypress Framework
    .
