We are seeking a highly skilled
Aerospace Engineer
to join our UAV development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating system-level requirements into practical aircraft designs, ensuring aerodynamic efficiency, structural integrity, and performance optimization. Working closely with the avionics and systems engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Translate mission and customer requirements into conceptual and detailed UAV designs.
- Perform aerodynamic, structural, and propulsion system analysis to validate aircraft performance.
- Lead the design, integration, and optimization of airframes (fixed-wing, multirotor, or hybrid).
- Collaborate with avionics, propulsion, and payload teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Develop CAD models, technical drawings, and documentation for prototypes and production.
- Conduct trade studies, simulations, and testing to support design decisions - CFD and more
- Support ground and flight testing campaigns, analyze data, and implement improvements.
- Work with manufacturing partners and internal teams to support production readiness.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in UAVs, materials, and aerospace engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
, or related field. - Proven experience in
aircraft/UAV design, development, and testing
(academic or professional). - Strong knowledge of
aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and structural analysis
. - Proficiency with
CAD/CAE tools
(e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion360, NX, ANSYS, or equivalent). - Familiarity with
CFD and FEA simulations
for performance and structural validation. - Proficient in English
