Chubb is looking for a Software Engineer in Test to join our team. Responsibilities

• Test Plan Ownership: You will take charge of creating and executing test plans, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers
• Release Process Assurance: Ensuring that software adheres to specifications during the release process
• Fundamental Testing Contributions: Applying essential testing concepts and making valuable contributions to our overall testing strategy
• User Acceptance, Regression, and Functional Testing: you'll be involved in designing, specifying, writing, and executing tests in these critical areas
• Fundamental Testing Contributions: By applying essential testing concepts, you'll make valuable contributions to our overall testing strategy
• Automated Testing and Script Maintenance: You'll write automated tests and maintain a library of test scripts and scenarios for execution. You have a fascination for automation
• Monitoring Live Production Systems: Through synthetic and similar tests, you'll proactively identify defects in live production systems. 
• Holistic View of Quality Assurance: You'll participate in every feature of the software's development cycle, starting from its early stages.

Qualifications 
 

• 3-5 years of experience in complex business and technical environments in the QA space presence with Remote Distributed Teams : You've worked effectively with remote, highly distributed teams
• Ownership of Test Plans and Strategies : You have experience owning test plans and defining test strategies
• Testing Expertise : You're skilled in testing web applications, REST APIs, and mobile applications. Your understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, REST, SSL, HTML, JS) is strong
• Test Automation Proficiency : While specific tools are less critical, you understand the principles behind test automation. Familiarity with tools like Playwright, Selenium, Gherkins, Postman, and Fiddler is required
• Performance Testing Knowledge : You're familiar with performance testing tools and optimization concepts
• SDLC and Agile Experience : You've worked within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Very experienced with Jira and Jira testing concepts and constructs
