MSKAT Construction SA, a reputable construction company specializing in civil works and infrastructure projects, is seeking a talented and experienced Site Engineer specializing in Concrete Works to join our team. The site refers to a high-end industrial building project in the region of East Attica.

As a Site Engineer for Concrete Works, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing all aspects of concrete construction on the project site. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic and innovative construction company.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review construction plans and drawings for concrete works
  • Coordinate and supervise concrete works, including the placement, curing, and finishing of concrete
  • Monitor and inspect concrete mix designs and concrete pouring activities
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of concrete materials
  • Conduct tests and inspections to assess concrete quality and performance
  • Resolve any technical issues or challenges related to concrete works
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, including junior engineers and subcontractors
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate project updates to the project manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete construction, with a focus on site engineering
  • Strong knowledge of concrete mix design, placement techniques, and curing methods
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for concrete construction
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Experience in supervising and coordinating concrete works on construction sites
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry
