We are seeking a driven PHP Developer with strong problem-solving skills to join our eCommerce development team in Chalandri, Athens. Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team to develop modules, services, and eCommerce solutions based on Opencart and WordPress.
• Code, test, and operate front-end and back-end applications.
• Address complex performance issues and architectural challenges.
• Utilize tools and creativity to identify and fix bugs before they escalate.
• Document both existing and new applications.

Requirements

• Excellent experience with PHP
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Familiarity with MVC patterns (e.g., used in frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.)
• Proficiency in debugging and performance optimization
• Solid knowledge of SQL (MySQL, MariaDB)
• Comfortable working with REST/SOAP APIs
• Strong communication skills, self-motivated, team player
• Ability to tackle complex problems, requirements, and design
• Willingness to learn from our experienced staff
• Constantly striving to stay current with new tools and best practices

Nice to Have

• Front-end expertise
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue, or jQuery
• Strong skills in HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass or Less)
• Understanding of build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp, or npm scripts)
• Version control knowledge (e.g., Git)
