Job Summary
As an Intermediate/Senior Piping Designer/Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and coordination of piping systems for complex energy and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver design solutions that meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements across all phases of project execution. Key Responsibilities
Design & EngineeringDevelop piping layouts, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.Perform pipe stress analysis and ensure appropriate material selection, routing, and support design.Prepare and review piping specifications, material take-offs (MTOs), and technical documentation.3D Modeling.Project ExecutionContribute to concept design, FEED, and detailed design phases across a range of project types.Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil/structural, and electrical teams to ensure design integration.Participate in model reviews and maintain the 3D model integrity throughout the design lifecycle.Leadership & Quality AssuranceProvide guidance to junior designers and check design deliverables for accuracy and compliance.Support project engineers and managers by providing input to schedules, resource planning, and deliverable tracking.Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in design.Client & Site InterfaceSupport client design reviews and respond to technical queries.Participate in site visits for data collection, field verifications, or construction support as needed. Qualifications & SkillsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or a related field.Intermediate role: 4–9 years of experience in piping design and engineering within the energy or infrastructure sectors.Senior role: 10+ years of experience with a proven track record in leading piping design efforts on large-scale projects.Proficiency with general piping design and 3D modeling software Plant 3D.Stress Analysis software CEASAR IIStrong knowledge of piping codes, standards, and industry best practices.Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
