Facilities Maintenance Officer

We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Officer reporting to the Head of Facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for buildings & equipment maintenance, securities systems coordination and oversight of the new building projects, renovations, or refurbishments ensuring that our facilities are properly maintained, secure, and meet the organization's standards and operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Establish, monitor, and implement preventive maintenance procedures and schedules for buildings and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and fire regulations;
• Coordinate and monitor operations, including maintenance, cleaning, pest control, internal projects, and technical asset management;
• Ensure the proper function of security systems and compliance with company security procedures;
• Keep detailed logs, including maintenance & security incidents and produce relevant reports;
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring both cost-effectiveness and high-quality service delivery;
• Supervise multi-disciplinary teams, including securities, cleaning, and maintenance staff;
• Conduct and document regular facilities inspections;
• Oversee damages resolution to maintain facilities in optimal condition;
• Address internal customer requests promptly and effectively;
• Participate in Security and Incident Response Teams (Firefighting), managing all phases from preparation to recovery;
• Handle emergency calls and respond to urgent situations;
• Adapt to flexible working hours as required;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering (University or Technical Institute);
• 3 years of working experience in facilities maintenance;
• Understanding of electrical and plumbing, and HVAC;
• Organizational, and planning skills, critical thinking, and rigorous attention to detail;
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; high ability to understand complex issues quickly, to effectively analyze facilities/security risks and controls and to clearly report and escalate findings;
• Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented;
• Firm command of the English language, oral and written communication skills; and
• Driving license.
