Delivery Hero Payments S.A. (DH Pay) is a licensed Payment Institution regulated by the Bank of Greece that delivers #FinTech solutions, and its team is currently looking for a Risk & Governance Specialist to join us and take over this new challenge. You will be responsible for identifying and analyzing various risks (financial and non-financial i.e. strategic, operational, regulatory compliance, etc.), developing risk management controls and contingency plans and communicating recommendations to the Company's  and Group's management.

Our DH Payments team that delivers #FinTech solutions, is currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join us and take over this new challenge. Our ideal candidate will combine advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

What you'll do:

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

• Prepare account reconciliations (fixed assets, banks' balances & cash, accruals, payables, revenue, expenses & inter-company transactions)

• Reconcile customer and supplier balances

• Collect, analyze and summarize account information

• Support month-end and year-end close process

• Analyze financial records and reports to ensure they are in accordance with local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for statutory purposes

• Communicate frequently with stakeholders abroad.

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

• Processing treasury payments

What you'll need:

• BA in Accounting or similar field

• 1-2 years of proven experience in accounting is a must - Big 4 experience will be considered an asset

• SAP experience will be a plus

• Computer literacy with Advanced MS Excel skills

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• Good sense of responsibility and commitment to confidentiality
